While America is celebrating our nation's 2nd of 49th birthday, President Trump is celebrating the passage of his one big, beautiful bill.

The president said a deadline of July 4th and lawmakers working furiously to deliver on time for their boss.

This bill cuts $1.5 trillion in spending. So wasteful spending is being cut by

one and a half trillion dollars. Fox's Rebecca Castor joins us from Washington this morning.

Trump kicked off his victory lap last night at a rally in Iowa, just hours after House

Republicans finally passed the big beautiful bill,

House Speaker Mike Johnson is being declared a miracle worker after wrangling enough votes to get this done. It took days of arm twisting, with some Republicans concerned over cuts to Medicaid and SNAP programs,

while others still think the bill didn't cut enough spending. In the end, Republicans

only lost two votes. Democrats, of course, feel differently. Former President Biden called

the bill cruel, and Kamala Harris says it will devastate millions of people across the nation.

The president expected to sign the big beautiful bill later today in a ceremony at the White House.

The top court in the nation will address the issue of transgender athletes in sports.

The Supreme Court justice is once again waiting into controversial territories, specifically

transgender athletes in high school sports.

Two separate cases from Idaho and West Virginia will be consolidated into one with

the justices likely hearing arguments this fall. The justices agreed to review a lower court

ruling which found a West Virginia law banning transgender athlete Becky Pepper Jackson from

competing violated her rights. She sued at a young age to compete in tennis and cross-country. It's West Virginia

and Idaho joined 26 other states with similar bans. The majority of them put in place in recent years.
