I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News, House Republicans cancel the hearing today to consider holding

director Christopher Ray in contempt of Congress over a document they demand detailing an

allegation that President Biden, when he was vice president years ago, may have accepted

a bribe.

Ray will now allow all members of the oversight committee to view it.

The top Democrat on the committee, Jamie Raskin, said the FBI already investigated the matter

under that attorney general Bill Barr and found no wrongdoing.

A point disputed by Barr who tells Fox, quote, we did not close anything.

Fox's Lucas Tomlinson now an update on the special counsel's investigation into former

president Trump.

Fox has confirmed that the former president's lawyers have been notified that President

Trump is the target of Jack Smith's look into the handling of classified material.

The notification indicates Smith may be close to deciding whether or not to bring charges
