City civil trial, finding him liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll and defaming

the author in his denials.

her lawsuit after writing in a book he attacked her in a store dressing room in 1996.

In court today in New York City, Republican Congressman George Santos expected to face

federal charges.

The nature of the counts in the Eastern District of New York are unclear.

Santos has been accused by many of his fellow Republicans and some who voted for him last

year of embellishing his background in order to get elected, which he has admitted doing.
