Hollywood writers have gone on strike with no contract agreement between the

writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television

producers. The main sticking points are over pay and streaming

residuals. The walk out is the first WGA strike in 15 years with more than

11,000 television and film writers walking off the job.
