Big meetings in Munich. I'm Dave Anthony Fox News. Vice President Vance has just sat down with NATO's leader at a security conference in Germany.

We want to make sure that NATO is actually built for the future.

They also talked about finding a way to get Russia to stop waging war. And the vice president will later meet with Ukraine's president in Munich.

And Fox's Madeline Rivera reports.

Vance and a Wall Street general article shared perhaps some of the Trump administration's strongest words of support yet for Ukraine,

saying the U.S. would hit Russia with sanctions and even military action if it does not agree to a peace deal with Ukraine.

Earlier this week, Defense Secretary Pete Heggs said the U.S. would not put troops on the ground in Ukraine.

Now, the defense secretaries in Poland now.

He worked out this morning with some American troops there.

And Hegson just met with his Polish counterpart and we'll hold talks with Poland's president.
