fresh air far away from any noise or light pollution. It just makes me feel like I'm

actually free in a live, you know? But it seems like a lot of other people who go out

A little background. Everyone probably says that same thing. I'm an avid outdoorsman.

I hunt fish, camp, hike, and kayak. My buddy is not an outdoorsman. He goes party camping

with me, and that's about it. We have never experienced anything like what I'm about

to tell you. And this happened back in 2018. The day before we were camping at a lake

in the Nicolet National Forest in northern Wisconsin. The trees were changing color and

the leaves were starting to fall. It was freezing at night, being October. My buddy got

cold quickly and we drove around in the mornings to warm up. We would go into town, get

gas and supplies, mentally beer. There needed to be more to do at our campground. There

was no hiking or activities that currently existed. So we were drinking, listening to music,

and talking about party camping. The next day was going to be an overcast rainy day. So
