Hey, it's Storyworthy. Today on the show, I'm bringing back a story from 2021 from Big Cat activist Carol Baskin.

I go to the side gate and push it open and I'm walking around inside this backyard area.

And now it's getting really dark and I can't quite see what's going on.

And there's like this 45 degree angle or steeper slope that I'm

walking down and it's muddy because it's been raining and I'm trying to get a grip on you know

like if there's three cats back here where the heck are they and I see chain link fencing

and so I'm making my way over to the chain link and I hear this

bang up on the fence right next to me. And this tiger is just looming over me. She has seen me

fumbling around in the dark and has come flying across her cage and thrown herself against this

fence. Today on the show, Big Cat activist Carol Baskin talks about raising tigers and ligers.

Hey! Hey! worthy. And right off the top, what's the difference between a tiger and a liger?

A liger is a man-made creature from crossing lions and tigers to each other.

It would not happen in the wild because lions and tigers live on different continents.

Oh, my gosh.

That's unbelievable.

I mean, that seems like, yeah.

So people purposefully will take a lion, put it in an enclosure with a tiger, and they will mate?

If they don't kill each other.

I mean, it's hard enough even when you're trying to breed two lions or two tigers together that they don't kill each other.
