Greg, the Weather Station is a band, a unit,

but for all intents and purposes,

it is really one extraordinary singer-songwriter, Tamara Lindemannann who has been performing as the weather

station for some time. She'd cut her teeth singing in the folk clubs and

coffee houses of that vibrant Toronto scene.

She migrated to Toronto after growing up in a rural part of Ontario, Canada, singing to herself, singing in the choir, she began writing the songs for this

new album, Ignorance, in early 2019, at home playing on a toy keyboard.

But when she went in to record, she said her goals were the more lush

orchestral sounds of, you know, vintage Fleetwood Mac, Roxy Music, and Talk Talk, an interesting

influence there. Let's play a track from this new album, Ignorance, Tamara Lindemann's fifth record, and we'll come back and give our reviews.
