I'll say about failure is like there's two spheres of failure and one of them really doesn't exist.

So like we think that there's failure, like we write something and the piece fails and it doesn't, you know, it doesn't go anywhere.

It gets tucked in a folder, we never see it again.

Then there's the failure of like trying to publish and you just keep getting told no, right?

Or you publish a book and it doesn't sell well, right?

You know, like there's that failure.

The failure of writing work and it not turning out into anything is an illusion.

Like, I don't believe that anything we write is actually a failure.

It's always for me, and I didn't understand this until, you know, a couple years ago,
