He invited me to a party where I had grown up and I was going to go, but the last minute didn't.

Came into work the next day and the manager pulled me aside and said, did you hear about Doug? I said, no. He said

he was at a party and the host of the party was treating his girlfriend badly. So Doug went into

this guy's bedroom with two of his friends and went to confront this guy and the guy pulled out

a shotgun and shot him all in the back.

So it was a triple murder and it just haunted me because I was almost at this party.
