I wanted to talk about the NFL really quickly at the start here.

We talked about them briefly because of the thing that they tried to do with the Super Bowl,

where they were basically asking artists to play for them and to pay to play the Super Bowl.

Then obviously, the NFL has been in news a lot recently because they can't seem to

control the various players from beating up on their wives and girlfriends.

I had mentioned in the past that the NFL is basically a nonprofit as far as the government

is concerned and pays no taxes whatsoever.

Finally, someone is trying to do something about this.

The National Football League generates about $9.5 billion in revenue each year.

It is by Forbes' estimate the most valuable sports league in the world.

Basically, they've been a tax exempt organization forever, which needs to stop because this

is absolutely ridiculous.

They chase you and me down like there's no tomorrow, but apparently the government will

not tax this crazy sports institution.
