Hey everyone, welcome to the Council of Trend Podcast. I'm your host,

Catholic Answers Apologist, Trent Horn. When we talk about the word genocide,

when we talk about attempts to exterminate people's,

many, the ones that often come to mind are the Holocaust or the Rwandan genocide,

but there have been efforts to try to exterminate people's that have really

become forgotten, things like the Armenian genocide of 1915.

And when we think about this, this isn't just some obscurity in history.

It goes back to a long and lengthy period of Christian persecution,

and something that is still happening today to Christians who really represent

the most eastern edge of Western civilization.

And so there's a lot talking about that things that are still happening today.

And so my guest is a friend of Catholic Answers, Simone Riscala.

She's a director of, I think, growth within doubt.

She just told it to me, and now it's left my mind.

Maybe she can fill a center and buy a little bit more.

She spoke at our conference recently at Catholic Answers,
