Doggy Shoes Excerpt:
It was another hot, sunny day on Ahway Island. The sun’s rays beamed through the blinds that covered the big sliding door of the apartment, creating a striped pattern of light on the fluffy carpet.
Jewel the dog lay in one of those sun spots, her front paws stretched out in front of her, and her back legs splooted out behind. Usually, she’d be cozied up next to her person on the cushy couch, but he had left the apartment a little while ago. So, for now, she soaked up every bit of warmth from the sun
Today’s Meditation: Feel calm and relaxed as you imagine a baby elephant and its mama.
