I've gone from, let's say, and this is just a short list, but from being a computer programmer

to a writer, to an entrepreneur, to hedge fund manager, comedian, on and on.

And I do get that excitement that you're talking about.

I do engage in that path towards mastery.

But sometimes I feel like maybe I'm a dilatant, Jack of all trades master of none, even though

I do follow my heart on what's exciting me.
