What's the point in analyzing a team's schedule?

I mean, if that's your way of looking at it, if that's your philosophy, what's the

point in analyzing anything?

A player's schedule is just another input.

Why wouldn't we analyze that?

Now in particular, I like to look at a player's early season schedule.

At the beginning of the season, most teams are pretty healthy.

We have a general idea of what they're going to look like.

Once December hits, that can change pretty dramatically.
