Well hi friend, welcome to our final day together, going through the I am statements of God and studying what his word has to say.

And today instead of moving our body, we are going to do a focused time to rest and be still.

Yes, we're going to finish with rest, although it is the very thing we begin from is a state of rest, because we work from rest, we're going to return now to a posture of rest.

Go ahead and take a moment to place your body in a comfortable position, one that allows you to feel supported, yet attentive.

We want to become aware of the weight of our body in the chair or on the floor.

We want to invite you to let all your thoughts that are busy or waiting or feel judgmental to just fall off you.

Whatever decisions you've come in this time with or are waiting for you outside of this time,

let's just lay them all at Jesus's feet right now.

When we do that, we posture ourselves in a heart posture of humility.

It's a way of saying, God, I'm sorry for making it about these things.

Let me give these to you now and rest in your presence.

Let's go ahead and inhale and let your belly inflate with air.

Let it fill, fill as you inhale and widen your belly and rib cage and fill even your shoulder blades widen and then as you exhale, deflate.

You'll feel a little bit more of a collapse in the body, a surrender, a fall.

So notice the breath as it rises and falls, rises and falls.

Holy Spirit, we invite you now to come, be our helper, be our guide, be our counselor, just be for us.

Thank you that you intercede for us with moans and groans and sighs when we don't have words.

Thank you that it is your job to teach us all about the things of heaven and the God we serve.
