Summary
Sarah is still a heckler magnet, and she had to endure another one again. We debate the virtues of crowd work comedians vs. traditional sets. Susie talks about a documentary that features a child predator who admits their crimes. We discuss why these people often don't admit the harm they do to others. A silk dress from the 1800s had a secret code in its pocket and, after many years of lots of people attempting to decode it, someone finally figured out the message and it was...shocking. Newton's third law of motion (the old action-reaction dealy) was defied by a substance on Earth, and we cannot believe what it is. We discuss the consequences of people exploring their genealogical roots and finding out they might not be who they thought they were and how sperm donors existed before sperm banks. We learn how much funding goes to protecting endangered species, why a couple of animals get most of the money, and which species got $100. Plus, we learn about "Benford's Law" and the mystery of why certain numbers appear more frequently in data sets than others.
