Post-traumatic explores the life and relationships of a character named Vivian, a black and Latinx woman in her 30s,

an aspiring writer who works by day as an attorney advocating

for patients in a New York psychiatric hospital. Vivian is the survivor of abuse, childhood abuse,

and in the pages of post-traumatic, Vivian's seemingly stable and successful

young adult life is upended by the lingering effects of trauma and the destabilizing impact of

family estrangement. It is also a very funny book oftentimes.
