Summary
Today on the show Jayson is talking with actress, producer, podcaster, and entrepreneur Melissa Carcache. Melissa was born in Miami, Florida, and knew she wanted to be an actress as far back as kindergarten when she starred in her first play. Right after completing high school at 18, after getting her mother’s blessing, she packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles for a career. She got off to a bit of a good start by nabbing a role in an Intel commercial but spent the majority of her time auditioning and attending more classes.
Melissa has been a part of a few successful entrepreneurship ventures, she started her own production company, RomDom Productions, created a successful podcast with her sister called Millennial Women, and now has a chip company selling her grandma’s chip recipe across the globe. Melissa truly have carved her own path in life.

A five years old is really where I discovered my true passion for acting. You know, I was in a little play. I was dressed up as a crow. I had no lines. I don't even know what the play was about. |
| 1:44.9 | But, you know, I really, I told my mom, I said, I really like this. It's a lot of fun. I want to get into it. And she was like, no, you're not going to start working as a child actor. You're going to be a kid because my parents are from Cuba and they know what it's like to not have a, you know, a normal and great childhood and they wanted their children to enjoy, you know, being a kid and not having to worry about things. |

| 2:09.3 | And so I begged that. I begged that at 14, she allowed me to finally start to take classes, |
