writer on Chelsea lately or did you come on as a comic first? I started as a writer first,

but I came on halfway through. I think it was exactly the midpoint of that show. So I got there

when the show was like at its peak, like hugely successful, and then it slowly started to

you could not even have a comedy career. Go on that show be a regular. And you would at that time

what at its peak, you would sell out clubs all across the country. Oh my gosh, when I started

all the comics every weekend, they were going out to all these clubs selling them out like crazy.

When I went to like Vegas or something with some other other writers, it was like the Beatles were

coming through. It was crazy because when you started on Chelsea, you were doing a lot of like

correspondence. Well, that was that was my thing the whole like how I got on the show is when Chelsea

dated Ted Harbor. I worked I was working for E as a reporter, right? Putting the show together.

I remember being in a conversation with Ted and Chelsea and they go, well, we can't have four people

shitting on celebrities. So yeah, we need a person that will defend them that will say facts about

you know, we need a person on a show that will give facts right now, whatever person we're talking

about. So they're like Michael, you're that guy. So when I went on, that's what I wasn't a comedian,

wasn't trying to be a comedian, but it turned into everybody shitting on me because I would always

defend the celebrity, you know, but that was my job because you guys didn't have to interview them.

I did. That's true because I think every celebrity non-demand came through that either your studio
