Hi, this is Jen Rubin, and this is Jen Rubin's Green Room.

For those of you who are watching and not listening, you will notice the large purple cast on my wrist.

0:20.3

And therein lies the explanation for why I've been laying a little

0:23.9

bit low recently. It's not because I'm depressed, although there have been moments of depression.

0:30.0

And it's not because I fear Donald Trump is going to deport me, although he might. It's because I

0:36.0

broke my wrist and took quite a tumble. So I am on the mend

0:40.3

and once again am immensely grateful for that part of the American medical system that works

0:47.9

very well if you have insurance, even poor insurance. And for all the doctors and nurses and physical therapists, it does take

0:55.8

a village to put together a wrist again. So I am on the mend and I am in fighting form once

1:47.1

over the next year looking at that, what it entails, what they've created, how they've bamboozled

1:52.5

people, how utterly uninformed his voters are. 70% of people who read newspapers voted for

1:59.3

Kamala Harris. The people who are the most uninformed, and there's actually been poll work done on this from Reuters Ipsis, the more likely they are to vote for Trump.

2:08.9

Because ignorance, confusion, fear is how they operate and how they attain power.

2:14.8

And that's why they spent $100 million on anti-trans ads. It wasn't because

2:20.3

this was an actual issue. They decided to make it an issue and to throw the fear of God literally

2:27.3

into many of their supporters. So that's part of the explanation. And then of of course, we have to come to terms with the fact

2:35.6

that African Americans didn't vote for Donald Trump. Their economic situation, on average,
