I am so glad that you are here.

I've got something a little bit special for you today, and that is a play

from suspense that I actually recorded and digitized off of tape myself. And I'm really, really happy

with how the audio quality turned out.

I wish every old-time radio play and drama on my podcast sounded this good.

This play has absolutely no audio degradation that comes with really low quality MP3s, which are pretty much how these plays are all across the

internet. Now, to be fair, this was actually one of those plays that did a really good job surviving time.

It already sounded really good off the tape deck even before I started cleaning it up.

And so I was really impressed and really amazed with how good it sounded just playing it off the

tape deck. This is something that I'm going to try to start doing more, and that is collecting

these old timetime radio programs

on tapes and vinyl records and digitizing them myself. I feel like having a better source file

to work with will help me to do a better job, cleaning them up and giving you better results.

But anyways, I will babble on about that more another time.
