| 0:56.1 | I guess I call myself a forensic psychologist as the bigger umbrella, but I specialize as a law enforcement or police psychologist now. |
| 1:03.5 | Prior to all of that, I was really interested in law enforcement. I was born into a law enforcement |

| 1:12.1 | something. You know, it was interesting to me. I think criminal justice was always something that |
| 1:18.0 | was obviously present, but also I found pretty fascinating. So I ended up in undergrad |
| 1:24.5 | majoring in criminal justice and psychology and really wanted to go to what's called the California Department of Justice. |
| 1:32.5 | So most states have their version of it. |
| 1:34.5 | It's it's like the FBI, if you will, of that state. |
| 1:39.0 | And I knew I didn't want to be a cop. |
| 1:41.2 | And I just wanted to go into investigations. |
| 1:43.6 | All you needed was a bachelor's degree to apply and be a special agent. And when I graduated, they were on this major, major hiring phrase in the entire state of California. So I really had to regroup and figure out something else because the months were taken by. And here I was working part-time at Starbucks. |
| 2:02.8 | And I also had a part-time job at my local police department as a police cadet. I was in charge |
