Scott and I got to sit down and have a chat with the incredible Addy Oasis.

Now, Scott actually hipped me to Addy.

I checked her out on Instagram and then went and devoured all of the YouTube content and her records on Spotify. Addy is incredible. She is a singer, songwriter, bass player, band leader, but it doesn't do it justice, right? You have to hear. And in the interview, Scott and I geek out on her songs with

her. Hopefully, Addy, it wasn't too embarrassing for you. Like, we're just like, ah, just feeling it so

much. For me, Adi gives me this, like, really awesome throwback vibe to the Sulkwarian era that I

love so much, like with Erica Badu and Jay Dilla. She has incredible

tone, both in her vocal approach and in her bass playing, just like excellent vintage

vibes all the way around. She uses effects. We talk about singing and playing the bass at the

same time. We laugh a lot. We have a great time. So,

got going on this week at SBL. You guys, we just released a brand new course yesterday, March 8th,

songwriting and composition with Michael League of Snarky Puppy.

I personally have devoured all of the content that Michael League has put on the SBL

platform.
