0:10.3	I've gotten this question for over 10 years.
0:14.6	And I've always paused before doing a video on it because I'm thinking I should probably
0:19.8	have my wife joy do this video.
0:22.8	And so I've sort of procrastinated and put it off.
0:24.8	But today's the day.
0:26.4	Today we're going to tackle a number of things.
0:29.8	We're going to look at the Bible, the New Testament.
0:32.8	There's about 10 verses in 1 Corinthians talking about women, headship, and covering your
0:40.0	head with a veil for prayer in liturgy.
0:44.8	Also the second Pope, Pope St. Linus also mentions the important of a veil.
0:51.9	And then also the canon law of the Catholic Church in 1917, all the way up until 1983
0:57.0	had a very specific canon for women covering their heads and shirts.
1:02.9	So we're going to look at all that today.
