I'm from a small town in Dodd Ridge County, West Virginia called the West Union, and

not a whole lot happens here.

Besides petty theft and drugs and the predictable stuff, it's a very everybody knows everybody

kind of area, and their business is everybody else's business.

However, there was a boy named Joseph Spencer that I grew up with from daycare and up.

We weren't too close.

He was always introverted and reserved, but we were friendly and had mutual friends, so

I spoke to him regularly.
