Laura Simonson grew up in Michigan fishing with her dad and rock in the girl scouts.

In her teens she started to struggle with some mental health problems but with the support

of her family made it through the best that she could.

As an adult she fell in love got married and gave birth to 7 I repeat 7 children whom

she loved and adored and while she loved and adored them her mental health struggles

worsened and she and her husband wound up getting a divorce and her children went to

live with their father. However even that didn't work out because according to the Milwaukee

Journal Sentinel in 2010 all 7 children were placed into foster care with Laura's father.

Regardless of whether her children were with their father or her father Laura stayed in

touch and in June of 2012 when Laura was 37 years old tragedy struck one of her daughters

who had been in an accident early in her life that resulted in permanent disabilities
