0:43.8	Well, it was a quote from Philadelphia magazine that I just couldn't resist. It said this.
0:51.7	If New York is known for money and Los Angeles is known for fame, then Philadelphia is known
1:03.7	for conflict.
1:07.6	It's a nasty culture of division where race is pitted against race.
1:18.1	Class is pitted against class.
1:21.8	Special interest groups, pitted against special interest groups, all for power and position.
1:30.7	It's an endless game of divide and conquer.
1:38.5	And God has placed 10th church smack dab in the middle of that culture. We call ourselves the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:52.0	Jesus was born into a similar culture. It was a culture of division.
2:02.8	And Jesus refused to keep the perverse rules of the religious prejudice of the Pharisees.
2:12.8	He broke those rules and the way he responded to women and to children, to the sick, to the poor,
2:24.1	to even people who would be called immoral.
2:31.2	Jesus would not keep the rules of that prejudice.
2:37.0	We're the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
