Blue Ridge Hiking Experience by Thai H-26

This happened a couple of weeks ago. It was a sunny day. My wife and I decided to go hiking and

have a picnic. This was in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We got our backpacks out and began hiking

when we arrived at a parking area. We eventually came to a river. It seemed like an excellent place

to have our picnic. It appeared to be peaceful at first. My wife laid down a blanket and we started

pulling out our food. We just had some sandwiches, lemonade, bottled water and some cookies.

Nothing too crazy. It was a lovely day with fantastic scenery, regardless of all the beauty,

I started having an uneasy feeling. I didn't say anything to my wife about the feeling.

I didn't want to worry her. A few minutes later we heard rustling in the trees in the woods.

We looked around but we didn't see anything. My wife says, I don't like it here. She said she felt

spooked from the time we sat down. I thought we were being watched as well. Even the hair on my arms

and neck was standing up. We hear more rustling. I told my wife we should start back to the truck instead
