Summary
Susie got to visit her favorite tourist trap in Boston (where everyone knows her name!), but had to do so the old-fashioned way since her family's phones malfunctioned. Let's just say, if the bad guys ever take down our country's phone service we're all screwed. We learn why some people are wearing noise-cancelling headphones for a majority of their day, and why it might be bad for their mental health. And Susie preaches to Gen Z again about why they need to toughen up, but it turns out Sarah might be on their side since she wraps herself in a sleep cocoon because it's soothing. We learn the history of Dr. Brommer, the quirky castile soap creator, and why he succeeded in business, but not in life. We debate whether Crime Con is a harmless community of true crime enthusiasts or a re-victimizing event that profits off of pain. Susie watched a wild documentary about a small town in the Australian outback that is the center of a murder mystery. Plus, we hear the amazing efforts the National Archives takes to preserve documents and our history.
