0:12.3	All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
0:18.8	So these are the words that begin the Great Commission. The Great Commission that we say
0:25.5	in the church I pastor every single week when we scatter from our worship gathering. And it all starts
0:34.7	with a confession of the authority of Jesus over everything in heaven and on earth.
0:43.4	So this commission to go and make disciples of the nations is grounded in a reality, in a truth that Jesus has all authority over the nations, all authority over every life.
1:00.3	So why do we go and make disciples? Why do we go and share the gospel and lead people to be
1:05.7	baptized and identification with him and teach them to obey everything He has commanded because He is Lord.
1:14.9	This is what drives us.
1:16.1	This is the confession of faith that we see all throughout the Book of Acts.
1:20.7	God has made this Jesus who was crucified both Lord and Christ.
1:26.1	When you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised
1:30.1	him from the dead, you will be saved.
1:31.9	It all revolves around Jesus' lordship, and this is why we go.
1:38.0	This is why we make disciples, because Jesus is Lord.
1:43.1	Philippians 2, 9 through 11, one day, every knee is going to bow.
1:48.9	Every tongue is going to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God, the Father.
1:54.7	Sometimes I hear people say, I've decided to make Jesus Lord of my life.
1:59.1	The reality is, though, you really didn't have a choice in the matter.
