It actually drops, I believe, on January 15th in hardcover and e-book.

So here we are. We are in, what, mid-January, essentially. And it has been busy. It has been a busy start to the new year.

I spent much of the past two weeks doing final corrections.

Final changes on my new novel.

It's called Be Brief and Tell Them Everything.

It's coming out in May.

And I have to say, it was a bit of a nerve-wracking process.

More so than I think I might have anticipated.

And I think I talked about this last week too, because I was immersed in it last week, thinking that it was going to be all done.

And then the process got extended a bit into this week.

And I just finished everything yesterday.

I think I did.

The book is now off to the printer officially.

And I don't know.

You get down to the wire like this where you have to sign off.

And the pressure can ratchet up a little bit, the internal pressure, because this is it.

After this it's over. You can't noodle with it anymore.

And what made it stressful is that I kept finding things or I thought that I kept finding things, things that needed fixing or things that I wanted to change. Then it became a game of

starting to wonder if I was missing other things because I was finding, I was finding stuff, stuff that I couldn't
