Castaway Oasis is really, holds a special place in my heart.

I'm going to guess summer of 2015 when we first met at a pizza joint and started brainstorming about trying to create a community for people who needed a community.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a month or so later that we had our first meeting at the Unitarian Universalist Church here in Logan.

We filled up the building on our first meeting so we had to find a new venue.

Castaway Oasis has been meeting here ever since and it's so gratifying for me to see the community thriving.

I've been inactive a little bit the past few months but not really.

I'm just engaged in lots of stuff but my heart has never stopped being here.

So thanks for giving me a chance to say goodbye a little bit.

It's emotional for me to be leading Castaway.

There's so many dear friends here and so many happy memories but at the same time it's time for our family to move to Salt Lake.
