I'm your host, Jason Snell, this episode is I want to introduce it and say it's the weirdest Miyazaki Club episode ever, and it kind of is, but kind of isn't. We watched

Pan's Labyrinth, the 2006 film by Guillermo del Toro. It is what a movie this is. There's a lot

that is going on here. We will talk about it. And I did have it several

points. I thought, what if Miyazaki made a live action movie? And then there were the parts where

I thought, oh, he wouldn't have done that. Anyway, let me tell you. He might might. I mean,

again, I think there would have been more sort of like I, you know, this, you can't see your mom

because she's got the consumption than, then the, uh, horrible torture that happens. Well, yeah, we'll get there.
