Lord Jesus give to me and to all the listeners a share in this tranquil heart of yours.

For surely you see that this is the heart of Jesus himself.

This is the heart that arises from trust in the Heavenly Father

and knowing that in all things he is working for our benefit and blessing, even and especially

when we have a hard time seeing or understanding how. The Word of the Lord endures forever is a daily

verse-by-verse Bible study with the Church,

past and present.

Well, in our previous study, we had considered verses 17 through 27 of Proverbs 14.

We were warned about how the man of quick temper acts foolishly, and I admit it that way too often I am that man.

But the proverb is so right, what's the point of flying off the handle? When has anything

good come from it? Similarly, how a man who devises evil or evil devices is despised.
