It means a person who stands in temporarily for someone else of the same profession.

Used in a sentence, if you think your ball swing low enough to stand in for Heath

then right, you better have some really low calm.

week's episode I'll take advantage of the formulaic nature of this intro to make it

seem temporarily like Heath and Eli are on the episode.

what you will about the party big wigs subverting the will of the people but they never

would have given us Donald fucking Trump. The whole time that Democrats were

freaking out about the possibility that super delegates could steal the nomination I

don't have some of those rights. I mean, to whatever extent there was party leadership in the

GOP during the nomination process, they were united against Trump, but they'd been castrated over the years by an electric that was
