Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of Sleep and Relax ASMR.

This episode very very simple, very relaxing, very straightforward.

We are reading and perhaps dissecting 75 proverbs for wisdom and relaxation.

Some of them come with a little comment or text already.

You know, I may not necessarily. a little comment or text already.

You know, I may not necessarily add my own opinion or tale of, you know, application in my personal life for everyone but I thought it'd be a kind of a nice change in the

regular schedule something that we can kind of learn together and think about and maybe fall asleep to relax to whatever

the case may be.

So with that said, let's start with the first of 75 proverbs.

The first proverb,

don't count your chickens before they're hatched.

This is an English proverb, one that many people say, and has a couple different applications you could interpret it as

don't spend all your money before you get paid.

Don't think you've passed the exam until you get it back.

Don't think you've gotten that promotion before it's been confirmed.

Don't think something is basically going to turn out a certain way without first

confirming it. This is one that I kind of struggle with because I tend to be very optimistic.

I think if you're naturally an optimist, sometimes you've understood and accepted that there is an alternative.

But you know you want to plan and enjoy and try to think about the positive.

So there you go, don't count your chickens before they're hatched.
