Is there something about the 49ers old practice facility that has triggered an increased

incidents of ALS?

Former 49ers owner Eddie Devarlo wonders if non-football players who have lived in the area of

Redwood City where the 49ers practice for many years have also been afflicted with the rare

disease.

I spoke with Mr. DeBarlow last week and he said he plans to commission a study that focuses

on a one or two mile radius of the 49ers old practice facility which was located at 711 Nevada

Street in Redwood City.

The Barlow told me I have a strange feeling that there have been more cases of ALS outside of that

Redwood City facility than we know about. His plan does not involve testing the

environment or the ground at the old practice field because he said

what are you going to find nobody knows what causes ALS. On this edition of the
