David was king over Israel for many years and for many years he served the Lord.

The Bible called David a man after God's own heart.

What does it mean to be a man after God's own heart? Well, it means that you want what

God wants. It means you don't put yourself first. You put God first in all you do. It means you acknowledge God. Can you say

acknowledge? To acknowledge someone means to recognize that they are there, to see them, and to talk to them.
