listen to right now with spring in bloom even though things are tight things are tough things are tight, things are tough, things are unprecedented, music is still being made.

We're going to share our thoughts on some of the recent album releases from new and more established artists alike.

First up, a group called Soccer Mommy. from my knuckles into the sea.

And there's a pill,

that I'll stare through the mirror and me

maybe it's just a dream wish I could go back to see.

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, that is. That is a little bit of Bloodstream, the opening track on the second album by

Soccer Mommy. Its title is Color Theory. I said group before Greg, but really soccer mommy is one young woman.

Sophie Allison, who as a high school student at the Nashville School of the Arts began recording introspective

folky, emo, indie pop songs on her acoustic guitar, extraordinary stuff from the get-go a 2018 debut album

turned a lot of heads and now we have album number two, color theory, so-called because Allison experiences

synesthesia, the ability to see sound as colors.

And color theory presents a set of songs,

ten songs, that represent different moods

in terms of color.
