The Appalachian Mountains are home for me.

It's a place that I grew up, a place that I love, and a place that I do plan to hike

from point A to point B one day.

I've hiked sections of the trail several times, what I've never been through the whole

thing, and one day I hope to be an honorary Appalachian trail through Hiker.

These viewers, however, have seen some strange and undeniably horrific things while on the

Appalachian Trail, so we're going to share some scary stories from them today.

Back in the day, when I was a kid, Papa Swamp used to be a professional alligator wrestler.

In fact, he was so good he would tie his left hand behind his back and do back flips

up a snow bank for 24 hours before he would even fight one of those dreaded gators.

And you know, getting a good night's sleep is something that would really be beneficial

for him if he wanted to continue living this lifestyle.
