Thank you so much for checking out this episode of Cruise Radio. Very happy to have you here, my friend. A review of Princess Cruises, Royal Princess this week. It was a 15-night cruise from the West Coast over to Hawaii and back to the West Coast again. It was also a Christmas and New Year's cruise. So going to hear all about that here

in just a little bit. But first, staff writer Richard Sims on Deck with Cruise News. Hey, Richard.

Hey, Doug. A sad story off of Valiant Lady from Virgin Voyages. Yeah. Earlier this week, a passenger

on Valiant Lady fell from her balcony down to deck seven, which is a promenade deck.

There's not a lot of information as to exactly how this happened. There's a lot of speculation,

but we really don't get into that kind of stuff here. She received medical attention, but was

unable to be revived. The ship had only just left

Miami, like a couple hours earlier, so they basically turned around and went right back to port.

The Valiant Lady has now resumed its six-day Western Caribbean itinerary, which had to be

adjusted a little bit because they missed the first call of

Roatan by the time that, you know, they had to make adjustments to make up for the fact that they

had to go back to Miami, take the time to deal with the situation there, and then move forward.

The sailing is still scheduled to visit Costa Maya, Mexico, and Bimini. It's been reported that guests

on board are being given a 100% future cruise credit to make up for the missed port, as well as the

fact that, you know, this is a very traumatic thing that they experienced. Even if you don't
