Yo today's QOD is if you have an idea that you genuinely think is good

Welcome back to the quarter of the day show I'm your host Sean Crox and a

Sean Crox and calm we've got the late comic book creator Stan Lee on the

show today and today Stan is talking about your ideas because so often we come

up with an idea it won't think it's a really good idea and then we share that

idea with somebody else and that somebody else will literally poop all over our

idea and tell us all the reasons why it's not going to work and then we give up

on the idea we have to stop doing that if you have an idea and you want to

share it with somebody who actually creates ideas share it with an idea person

share it with an entrepreneur who's actually going to support you and give you

real feedback on the idea but don't share your ideas with people who don't

create ideas here Stan I spend quite a lot of time writing a 25-page speech

that I could give you and as I looked at I said would I want to hear the speech

so I tore it up so I stand here now defenseless with nothing except to tell you I

think you're all great the fact that you're taking the courses you're taking

you're trying to help to add to what you already know to make yourselves better

workers better contributors and I think that's great I think also that I'm

not going to make a long speech but I'm going to tell you I was told to say an

anecdote anecdotes are easy so I thought to myself what kind of anecdote

can I tell these people who really have more important things to do and I

figured I'm gonna tell you how Spider-Man came into being
