So I get an email from a person named Arden who tells me they're a school teacher and

would really like to come on the podcast. And as I'm going back and forth with Arden,

I start seeing that Arden actually signs their name Denny.

But in my head, of course, Arden is a woman because my daughter's name is Arden. But that's not the story. The story is that Denny is a school

teacher who had a child in his class with type 1 diabetes and Denny threw himself into the world of type 1 diabetes

so that he could be a better teacher and a mentor to his student. Beyond that

just being completely touching and most of us hoping for something even close to that for our kids,
