I am in Barcelona where life is chaotic, noisy, the streets are dirty.

There's way too much dog shit.

But it is sexy as hell here.

And when I say sexy, I don't mean sexual.

I don't really know.

It's hard to explain sometimes.

You know, there are these concepts that defy words.

And we use the words that come closest to try to explain it.

But all too often it misses the mark.

And when I say sexy, there's a word in Spanish,

morebosso, or morebosso.

It's the adjective morebos than noun.

And it's a funny word.

It doesn't really exist in English.

It's the closest associated word in English is morbid and morbidity.

But in English that refers to death.

Something's morbid.

Morbid humor is sick and dirty and dark and grotesque.

But in Spanish, motorbole refers to a sexiness that someone can have,

an attractiveness that they can have that isn't about them being aesthetically beautiful.

So for example, a lot of women would use as examples, someone like Jack Nicholson,

or Mick Jagger, who you look at them and you say, OK, that's not a particularly good-looking guy.
