slash inquiring minds. So, Indray, this week I went to the triple AS meeting, which is the

largest scientific society here in the U.S., and they had their annual meeting in San Jose.

I know. I was terribly sorry that I couldn't go, but I was performing

in an opera in the city, so too many conflicts. And this meeting has hundreds of presentations

from all disciplines of science, but they've invested a lot in tracks on science communication.

And the most impressive person I saw speak on science communication

was Kathleen Hall-Jamison, who runs the Annenberg Public Policy Center. So what's the first

thing you think of when I say 2016? Election. Sadly, that's the first thing in my mind, too.
