Summary
In episode 739, we're learning that Sarah has not let go of her pipe dreams of being a horse girl. She is itching for a new hobby, and we think horse grooming, trotting, and apple feeding are in her future. She is also in the midst of a very intense bet with Eli about who would win in a mile long swim race. Our money is on Sarah. Susie has amazing news--she got a mammogram! And boy, does she have a story to tell. Apparently, mammograms are not what she expected and she has some notes for the medical community. We hear why Peg Meister (Susie's mom) thinks aliens are "too close for comfort," and we were very excited to hear why. Turns out, we were having a "who's on first" type of conversation. We hear about two older gentlemen in Canada who were switched at birth, and why they both wish they didn't know the truth. Sooz Reviews the Jake Paul Untold episode on Netflix, and the documentary is surprisingly insightful about culture, parental love, sibling rivalry, and more. We did not see that coming. Plus, we talk to Danny Lee Clark aka Nitro from American Gladiators about his time on tv, what he learned through therapy, and what he's up to now.

| 0:00.0 | Here we are, episode 739. Hi, Sarah. And we're feeling fine. Yeah, I did it. I don't even care. |
| 0:25.2 | That's all right. I'll let it go. How are you? I'm doing great, man. Really? Yeah. I'm feeling, I'm feeling, okay. You are feeling fine. Here's what I decided. Okay. I need a new hobby. Oh, I know that you already have too many, but I know. But I don't really have right now. I shouldn't say that I need a new hobby. Maybe I need to reengage in a hobby that is |
| 0:55.2 | just for me or like my like, because you like, I'm just thirsty for that. You know, because like Eli keeps trying to talk me into mountain biking, which I am not going to do. |
| 1:11.2 | I need to let that go. I know I keep like hinting at it, but I am good. We did. Oh, we did make a bet. He got, we were talking about going on a trip to like the same like, like, back to Croatia, because we loved it so much like that area. And like, maybe like, staying on a boat with a group and like, we'll rent a boat for a week. It'll be super fun. And he was talking about swimming and he was, he was trying to get an all bragging. He's like, oh, yeah, I could beat like beat you. And I was like, oh, |
| 1:41.2 | yeah, huge mistake. I was like, you really think that you could be me. And I said, okay, let's do a mile swim. You really think in a mile swim. You could beat me. And we were with a group of people. And even they were like, I'm going to put my money on Sarah just based on how she's answering these questions right now. Like say, like responding right now. And so I told him I was so confident. I'm like, I, I will beat you so bad in an open water in the ocean mile long swim. You're fucking dead. |
| 2:11.2 | Yeah, it's embarrassing already embarrassing women always outswim men in long distance swimming competitions. |
| 2:17.2 | Humans could outrun a horse if the race was long enough. It's like, yeah, it's correct. So this is correct. That's why I made it a mile. Cause I'm like, oh, you'll beat me two laps and a pool. No problem. But we go 100 laps. |
| 2:31.3 | You're going to start getting tired. And your girl's going to be just fine. I'm, I'm super buoyant over here. |
| 2:38.2 | Plant fasciitis is not a problem in the water. |
| 2:40.9 | Not a problem. I go for miles. So I told him I was so covered that if I lost, I would buy a mountain bike. |
| 2:51.1 | Okay. Well, that is that she will never have to fulfill. Right. So that is the only time I will ever be purchasing mountain bike. |
| 2:59.2 | Is if I lose this. What happens if he, I haven't decided yet loses. I know. I'm thinking you're thinking about it. I am thinking. |
| 3:07.2 | All right. We'll put our hands together. So we were talking about like this whole mat, you know, and we've been like doing all these outdoor things. And I love camping. I love that's like totally my deal. |
| 3:16.6 | And I love paddle boarding. There are things that I do that are very fun. But there are all things that require a lot of like work to do it or another person too much. |
| 3:26.7 | I need like a hobby that I could just go. Yeah, you need restoration. You want to feel soon. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Restore. No. And I'm just kind of like in a hobby. |
| 3:40.2 | What? What about? I've always tried to lure you back into crafting. But maybe that's stressful to know. I was. I missed that. But, but the problem is I make it. And then I want to do something with it and put it like hanging out in the house. Yeah. I got plants for that. |
| 3:55.8 | And, you know, yeah. So I'm thinking here's here's what my instincts are telling me, but my pocketbook is telling me otherwise. Horses. |
| 4:08.3 | It is. It's like your destiny. I know. And we like drove by so many horses this weekend. And let me tell you, it was all I could do because because |
| 4:19.1 | Eli, one time we were driving was like, wow, you really are the girl who's like horses. Or like, you know, whatever, we took on a podcast. And now I like |
| 4:26.7 | You recognize when I have the impulse. I'm like, I didn't shout out horses like 30 times on this drive. So like, I'm really doing a good job of controlling myself. But I need to put this energy somewhere. Yeah. And so I'm thinking maybe horses. I don't know. But how, like, what do I do? What is like, right? |
| 4:40.8 | Well, they don't say that you can go for equine therapy. I feel like you're wanting like the equivalent of equine therapy. I just want to like |
| 4:48.8 | Like, you want to go for a little try. I want to just like feed their main. Yeah. Or like, like, we were on a hike that took us past this |
