So Tim and his family just returned from a five-night cruise aboard Carnival Valour. It was a Western Caribbean cruise out of New Orleans, and Tim joins us on the line to talk all about it. How you doing, my friend? I'm doing well, Doug. Thanks for having me on. Yeah, excited to hear about Carnival Valor. I don't think we've had a review on this ship, at least I think since the shutdown happens so excited to talk about this

before we get to the ship itself we'll take a step back as we always do give me some pre-cruced

thoughts what made you want to sail this five-nighter on carnival valor out of new orleans because

you're up in the ohio area right i used to travel down to new New Orleans on business way back in the 90s,

and then I became a school teacher. And it's a city I really loved. And I wanted to always go back

there and sail out of there because I would see cruise ships calling there back then.

I think, you know, someday I'm going to do that. And we're getting a family cruise together

for 2020.

Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

We kicked it down to 2021.

That still didn't happen.

So finally in 2022, we were able to travel down to New Orleans and hop on the Carnival Valor.

What did you do pre-crues down there?
