Welcome back to the Quot of the Day Show. I'm your host Sean Crox and the Sean Crox and

.com. We've got Bob Proctor back on the show and today Bob is gonna give you some of the

finest advice you will ever get. You know part of our philosophy on life is to seek counsel

not opinions which means if you want to go do something you go find somebody who's already

done it before and you ask them for help. And one common misconception is that successful people

keep their secrets guarded like they don't want to help you they don't want to share their wisdom

with you that is completely false. Successful people are the most giving people in the world

but here's the thing they're all around you and they're willing to help you but the closed

mouth does not get fed. You're gonna go have to ask for help and they'll help you. Here's Bob.

You know there's greatness all around you but you're gonna have to ask for help.

If you're gonna ask you're not gonna get it. Yesterday morning at seven o'clock I was on the

phone with Mark Victor Hanson. He, he and Jack wrote the chicken soup box and Mark's writing a new

book on Ask. He and his wife and he was interviewing me. I was talking to him day before the day before

was his birthday. He was 71 and I was saying just how time flies I was at his 50th birthday party. He

was a big birthday party and I said that was 21 years ago. It seemed like yesterday but at any rate

that's when I was talking to him day before yesterday and he was telling me about doing this book and he

said I want to interview for an hour or so. So I said okay so I said happy early so we started seven

o'clock and what he was doing was asking me about Ask. And I said well you know it's a strange thing.

He and and Jack and somebody else I forgot the other guy's name had written a book one time

and in it one of them said our problem is we don't ask for enough and I agree with that. We don't.
