Weini Kelati came into the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Team Trials as the American Record Holder in the half marathon, and as the only athlete in the women's 10,000m field with the Olympic Standard. She was the one to watch — and for good reason. In a thrilling finish, the Flagstaff-based Under Armour athlete won the race and earned her spot on Team USA for this summer's Olympic Games in Paris. 0:51.0	So when the time was right, she and then Carissa kicked and took the lead.
0:56.4	Some people thought Carissa was a lock for the win. Some thought Parker was a lock for the win.
1:01.6	But Wainey kicked once again and this time she ran away with it.
1:05.0	Wainey finished in a race-winning time of 3.14107. She earned a spot on Team USA and she will be going to her first Olympic Games later this summer.
